For the Love of All Things Red

Red is a bright, warm color that brings out strong feelings in us.
Red can create excitement and intensity of emotion.
It says love, warmth, and comfort.

These words are synonymous with red or represent various shades of the color red:
blood red, blush, brick, burgundy, carmine, China red, cinnabar , crimson, fire engine red, flame, Indian red, madder, maroon, rose, rouge, ruby, russet, rust, scarlet, tomato, Venetian red, and vermillion. Wow! We have lots of choices in this color.

Consider the ways we use the word red in hot passion...painting the town red...seeing carpet treatment...taking the red the red...or red flag.

Red is hot.
It's a strong color that conjures up a range of seemingly conflicting emotions
from passionate love to violence and warfare.

The use of red in decorating increases hunger and encourages conversation.
It asks you to come in and stay awhile.

Red has guts .... deep, strong, dramatic. A geranium red.
A Goya red ... to be used like gold for furnishing a house ...
for clothes, it is strong, like black or white.

Use red to suggest speed combined with confidence and perhaps even a dash of danger.

Happy Valentine Day to all of you!

I wish you love.
